Isolated localized flash flooding and strong to severe thunderstorms are expected Friday and Saturday.
Main threats: damaging winds, localized flooding of urban and low-lying areas, & dangerous lightning.
The threat of strong to severe thunderstorms and locally heavy rainfall that may result in flash flooding remains into the weekend, especially on Sunday.
Always remember if you can hear thunder you are close enough to be struck by lightning! When thunder roars, move indoors!
Rainfall totals will average 1-3 inches through early next week putting a continued dent in ongoing drought conditions.
