Scattered showers and thunderstorms during the early evening. Fair skies overnight.

Muggy with lows in the mid 70s.

TOMORROW

Scattered showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon and especially during the evening.

Temperatures top the low 90s. Heat indices as high as 103.

There is a marginal risk of severe storms for northwest half of the area as a cluster of storms moves in from north to south.

The primary threats will be damaging winds and heavy rainfall.

FRIDAY-WEEKEND

Only isolated opportunities for showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures heat up into the low-mid 90s. Heat indices could reach as high as 105.

The heat stays with us through midweek next week.
