Today’s Weather Authority Forecast: January 11, 2023

Happy Wednesday! Mostly cloudy skies tonight, lows in the upper 50’s-around 60.

Warm and breezy Thursday with temperatures topping the mid-upper 70’s.

Showers in the afternoon gives way to thunderstorms, some possibly strong-severe during the evening.

Tonight Tomorrow

A marginal to slight risk of strong-severe thunderstorms remains for much of SWGA for late Thursday.

The primary threat will be damaging winds. While a brief tornado cannot be ruled out, the wind profiles in the atmosphere and storm mode (a squall line)  suggests the threat is low.

Thursday

Rainfall totals will average 0.50″-1.00″ and flooding is not a concern.

Much cooler this weekend with near freezing temperatures both Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Seasonal weather is back for MLK Jr. Day.

Another chance of rain returns by next Tuesday.
