Happy Tuesday! Sunny skies gives way to considerable cloudiness overnight. Lows in the upper 30’s-around 40.
Mostly cloudy skies Wednesday with temperatures topping the low 70’s.
A marginal to slight risk of strong-severe thunderstorms covers the northwestern half of SWGA for late Thursday-early Friday.
The primary threat will be damaging winds. While a brief tornado cannot be ruled out, the wind profiles in the atmosphere suggests the threat is low.
Rainfall totals will average 0.50″-1.00″ and flooding is not a concern.
Much cooler this weekend with near freezing temperatures both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Seasonal weather is back for MLK Jr. Day.
Another chance of rain returns by next Tuesday.
