Tifton’s Espresso 41 dedicates seat in honor of customer Mike Harrison

TIFTON, Ga. – An honorary seat now stands at Espresso 41 as a heartwarming tribute for a one of a kind customer.

Espresso 41 in Tifton, Georgia, has installed a dedicated seat in honor of long-time customer Mike Harrison, celebrating the joy and warmth he brought with his regular visits.

“Mike came in on the same day, every day for five years. He sat in the same chair. We knew him. We loved him. He was always very polite to us. He was very caring and compassionate. He was one of those people that you just didn’t forget, like one of those regulars that you knew and was just always very warm and welcoming,” said Bree Norman, Marketing Director & Social Media Expert, Espresso 41.

Harrison’s name and picture have been affixed to the chair, along with a plaque, allowing customers to see and pay their respects. The seat is reserved on Thursdays and Saturdays in memory of Harrison.

“When he passed, we were all just shook, shook up, kind of upset because it happened so quickly and it was very sudden and we were all very, very upset about it. I used to come up here all the time and I had coffee with my dad, who is really close to him as well, and he always sat in the same spot. We wanted to pay tribute to him in some way. But, the owner is actually the one that came up with the idea. He has like a little plaque for the day that he’s supposed to be here and he sets it on the table. And, my dad actually did the picture and the nameplate on his chair. So, my dad and the owner actually came together and created it,” said Norman.

Espresso 41 extends a heartfelt message to the friends and family of Mike Harrison.

“We are deeply, deeply saddened by this loss and if they ever need anything to please reach out, and we really loved him for who he was as a person and who he was as a friend,” said Norman.
