Tifton’s Conger L-P Gas Holds “Touch A Truck”

Conger L-P Gas Partners with CASA for School Supplies

TIFTON, GA – To the Friendly City… where Conger L-P Gas held its second annual “Touch a Truck” event this morning.

It allowed the Tift Area community to donate school supplies for disadvantaged students.

Kids had the chance to touch police cars, ambulances, an army truck, and even a Life Flight helicopter.

They even visited with characters of the animated series “Paw Patrol.”

Conger L-P Gas’ Marketing Director Kirsten McAlpin said the first event was so good, it was worthy of a repeat performance.

“I’d just like to say thank you to everybody that came to this and any event that we do. Even if it’s just spreading the word on social media. We had a huge response. And, every little thing somebody does to help us, helps us give back more, and that means so much to our company and what Conger L-P Gas stands for,” said Kirsten McAlpin, Conger L-P Gas Marketing Director.

McAlpin hopes to make “Touch a Truck” an annual event, so they can continue to help needy students.
