Tifton middle school staff members arrested, charged in alleged child abuse

TIFTON, Ga. – Two Northeast Middle School staff members are facing serious charges after an alleged case of child abuse.

On November 5th, the Tifton Police Department was notified of the alleged incident.

26-year-old William Matthew Vickery, a teacher at the school, was charged with cruelty to children in the first degree and two counts of simple battery.

46-year-old para-professional Hope Wilson Falotico was also charged with two counts of cruelty to children in the first degree and one count of aggravated assault.
