Tifton Council for the Arts to host week of glass-blowing classes
TIFTON, Ga. – If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at glass-blowing, now’s your chance! The Tifton Council for the Arts is offering a week of hands-on glass-blowing classes led by Arthur Wilson of Silica Burns Glass.
The workshops run November 3 through 7 at 910 Main Street South, the old Short & Paulk building. Each day features a different creative project, from glass mushrooms and bowls to cups and pumpkins.
No experience is required, and all tools and materials are provided. Participants just need to bring their creativity and enthusiasm for learning something new.
The classes are open to adults 18 and older, with multiple time slots available each day to fit a variety of schedules.
