Tift Co. Sheriff’s Office: 4 Arrests Made For The Underage Sale of Vapes
TIFTON, Ga. – On Thursday, May, 1st, 2025, based on tips from the community, Tift County Sheriff’s Office Investigators conducted underage vape buys at numerous vape stores leading to the arrest of four individuals for selling vapes to a person under 21 years of age.
- Tabacco & Vapor Depot 1909 US Highway 82 West Tifton, Georgia, Abuali, Saeed, 24 years of age of Tifton, Georgia was charged with Selling vape to a person under the age of 21.
- Tifton Tabacco & Vapor 1878 US Highway 82 West Tifton, Georgia, Al-Tawil, Abdullah Gamal Ahmed of Tifton, Georgia was charged with Selling vape to a person under the age of 21.
- 101 Smoke Shop 1605 US Highway 82 West Tifton, Georgia, Vishwanath, Chandresha of Tifton, Georgia was charged with Selling vape to a person under the age of 21.
- 501 South Central Avenue Tifton, Georgia, Singh, Navjot of Tifton, Georgia was charged with Selling vape to a person under the age of 21.
“The CDC, Center For Disease Control, states that science shows that vapes contain ingredients that are both addictive and could harm different parts of your body. Nicotine can even train your brain and make you more vulnerable to other drug addictions. Our office will always do whatever we can to safe guard the youth of this community,” said Tift County Sheriff Gene Scarbrough.
