Tift Animal Rescue pet portrait fundraiser
TIFTON, Ga. – On Saturday, the Tifton community bore witness to an event that served as a unifying force for pet owners rallying behind a significant cause.
This purpose-driven affair drew passionate pet enthusiasts together, shining the spotlight on their furry companions as the main stars of the show.
The event offered pet owners the chance to capture holiday memories with their beloved animals through portrait sessions available for a nominal donation fee.
Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction while indulging in a delightful brunch, served either indoors or in the inviting outdoor seating area of the venue, hosted at the Local at the Lankford.
This heartwarming initiative wasn’t just about capturing precious moments but also about giving back to the community.
All proceeds from the event went towards supporting the Tift Animal Rescue which supports the Tift County Animal Shelter, serving as a crucial lifeline for these animal welfare organizations.
Local photographer Daniel Shippey, accompanied by his assistant Olivia Richardson, shared their enthusiasm for contributing their professional skills to assist in funding such a noble cause.
The Tift County Animal Shelter is located at 278 Highway 125 South in Tifton.
