Three South Carolinans arrested on drug charges after traffic stop

CORDELE, Ga. – On May 6th, at approximately 12:40 a.m., a Crisp County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop on a silver Honda Accord on Georgia 401 I-75 near exit 99 for failure to maintain lane.

Upon approaching the vehicle, the deputy noticed the driver rearranging items inside. Following consent to search, authorities found a bag of suspected methamphetamine, a bag of suspected cocaine, U.S. Currency, a digital scale, and multiple empty plastic bags.

Brett Wilson, Marcus Whitner, and Crystal Wilson, all from West Minster, South Carolina, face charges including possession of cocaine and methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
