Thomasville History Center to bring local flavor to table with 6th annual Crate to Plate fundraiser

THOMASVILLE, Ga. – The Thomasville History Center is bringing local flavor to the table with its 6th annual Crate to Plate fundraiser, happening Thursday, October 2nd.

This year’s event celebrates 200 years of Thomas County history, with a menu inspired by recipes from the beloved cookbooks Pines and Plantations and Good Food, Good Company. Each crate includes dinner and wine for two, packed in a reusable insulated tote filled with a few special surprises.

Guests can choose to pick up their crate to-go or stay and enjoy the evening at the History Center, complete with live music from Back-40 and fresh-boiled peanuts on the grounds.

All proceeds benefit the History Center’s programs and exhibits, supporting efforts to preserve and share Thomas County’s rich past. Organizers note that fewer than 200 crates are available, and they typically sell out quickly.
