Third Annual Forgotten Coast K9 Chili Cook-Off & Beerfest to benefit Veterans and First Responders in Valdosta

VALDOSTA, Ga. – Chili lovers and craft beer fans are invited to Georgia Beer Company this Saturday, January 17 for the Third Annual Forgotten Coast K9 Chili Cook-Off and Beer Fest.

The family-friendly event runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and features unlimited chili samples, craft beer tastings, and live music from The Southern Brothers. Proceeds from the event benefit Forgotten Coast K9, an organization that provides trained service dogs for veterans and first responders.

Admission is free for children 12 and under. Guests ages 13 to 20 can enjoy unlimited chili samples for $5, while adults 21 and older can sample both chili and beer for $20. Valid ID is required to consume alcohol.

Chili cooks are also invited to compete, with registration available for $35 dollars per team. The winning team will receive two VIP passes to a NASCAR Xfinity Series race in 2026, with additional cash prizes awarded for second and third place. Awards will also be given for Fan Favorite and Judges’ Best Chili.

The event takes place at Georgia Beer Company, located at 109 South Briggs Street in Valdosta. Gates open at 1 p.m., judging begins at 2 p.m., and awards will be announced at 3 p.m.
