The Legacy Group for Suicide Awareness hosts annual fall fundraiser event
CORDELE, Ga. – The Cordele Community Clubhouse was bustling with activity on Saturday as The Legacy Group for Suicide Awareness hosted a free fall festival event.
Local vendors set up to demonstrate their support, and the event featured a wide array of activities, including silent auctions, raffles, face painting, Halloween costume contests, and more.
The Legacy Group for Suicide Awareness is a non-profit organization founded to provide crucial support for the families of suicide victims and survivors.
Ta’Kari Tatum, a passionate young advocate for mental health and the creator of ‘The Rubber Band Mentality,’ journeyed from Powder Springs to raise awareness and offer support to those facing mental health challenges. He shared the significance behind the hand-crafted rubber bracelets he distributed to the community.
