The Anchorage of Albany hosts annual 2025 Anchor Open Golf “Fore” Recovery Tournament at Doublegate Country Club

ALBANY, Ga. – The Fairways at Doublegate Country Club will soon host an event combining golf, community, and second chances. The Anchorage of Albany, a faith-based program dedicated to helping men overcome addiction and rebuild their lives, is presenting its annual 2025 Anchor Open Golf “Fore” Recovery Tournament, sponsored by Five Star Albany, on Monday, September 8th.

Registration opens at 10 a.m., followed by lunch at 11 a.m., with a shotgun start scheduled for noon. Entry is $135 per player / $400 per team. Teams will compete in a “best-ball” scramble format, and prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers. First-place players will each receive $700.00.
