A mother's plea...
ALBANY, Ga. – A Terrell County woman is making a plea to the community to help find her missing daughter.
Melissa Thornton and her family are asking for the whereabouts of her daughter, Lacambria Toomer.
Toomer has been missing since August 15th of last year.
Her mother says that Toomer was last seen in rural Terrell County, and believes that Toomer’s boyfriend has been responsible for her disappearance.
During today’s press conference at the Albany Police Conference, Thornton wanted to send a message to her daughter.
“If you are out there, I want you to know that we love you, and we want you to come home. We miss you. Baby J right here misses you and loves you,” said Thornton.
Anyone with any information on Toomer’s whereabouts can reach out to the Albany Police Department tip line at 229-436-TIPS.
