Terrell Co. High School hosts homecoming parade
DAWSON, Ga. – Moving over to Dawson, as Terrell County High School hosted their homecoming parade Thursday.
Featuring students of all ages showing off their skills while saying good luck to the football team for their big game tonight.
The parade put a spotlight on their homecoming courts as they were shown off with their family.
The celebration also saw the band’s performing, dance teams, cheerleaders, and DJs.
Kids could even enjoy a special treat as candy was thrown out into the crowd.
“It was nervous, but it was also a sign, that same sign, you know, they get to see us so we can showcase this, how we look before the game and showcases how we do. During the game, it means a lot, you know, it encourages us and pushes us to win in our football games when our battles are so lonely,” said Ramarian Thomas, Terrell Co. Cornerback (CB).
“It was different. It was different from when I was a child coming out. So, we had a lot of new people, a lot of new floats, and now so everything was good,” said Melassia Caldwell, resident.
Our CBS 44 Sports Reporter Rodney Washington will have the outcome of the game during our Football Fever show at 11:15 p.m.
