Take charge of your health at The Mended Hearts’ SOWEGA Has Heart Community Health Fair in Leesburg

LEESBURG, Ga. – A new community health event is coming to Leesburg this weekend, offering free health screenings and resources for all ages. The SOWEGA Has Heart Community Health Fair, hosted by The Mended Hearts, Inc., takes place Saturday, February 7th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1579 U.S. Highway 19 in Leesburg. The event is open to the entire Southwest Georgia community and is free to attend.

Attendees can take advantage of a variety of free health screenings and information, including checks for blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, Body Mass Index (BMI), heart health, nutrition, and peripheral artery disease (PAD). The fair will also feature family-friendly activities and connect visitors with local health resources, making it easy to learn about and prioritize personal wellness in one convenient location.
