Sylvester’s Third Annual First Responders Contribute Cook-Off Festival

SYLVESTER, Ga. – Get ready to fire up your appetite!

The South Georgia Spill Response Traffic Control Division is inviting everyone out to its third annual First Responders Contribute Cook-Off Festival, happening Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This free, family-friendly event is all about showing appreciation for the brave first responders in our community. There’ll be live cooking competitions featuring chicken, ribs, and pulled pork, with teams vying for the top prize.

You’ll also find local food and craft vendors, bounce houses for the kids, and raffle prizes, with all proceeds benefiting first responder charities.

It’s a full day of fun, flavor, and giving back.

It all takes place at Jeffords Park, on East Willingham Street in Sylvester. So… come hungry, bring the family, and support those who always answer the call!
