Suspect named in Shell gas station burglary

ALBANY, Ga. – Albany Police responded to an alarm at the Shell gas station located at 2824 Old Dawson Road.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that the suspect had broken the front door of the establishment and stolen various tobacco products. Authorities managed to obtain the license plate number of a potential suspect vehicle, which was later located in the 600 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard.

Vomug Bratin Clark

The driver and suspect, identified as 51-year-old Bratin Clark, were found to be in possession of several items stolen from the store.

Clark was subsequently arrested and charged with burglary. Additional charges are pending due to a series of similar smash-and-grab burglaries.
