Suspect at large in Eldorado convenience store armed robbery
ELDORADO, Ga. – A suspect in a convenience store armed robbery in Tift County is still on the run.
An armed robbery occurred around 9:55 a.m. Monday, November 17th at the Eldorado Food Mart on U.S. Highway 41 South and Tifton Eldorado Road.
The armed robber fled on foot around the area of Interstate 75 at exit 55.
Tift County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) deputies searched the area, but no arrests were made.
The suspect is described as being an African American male, approximately 6’ tall and weighing about 250 pounds.
No injuries were reported in the armed robbery.
The suspect used a firearm to intimate and rob the store and took an unknown amount of money.
