Suspect arrested in connection to fatal Piggly Wiggly shooting

ALBANY, Ga. – On Wednesday, officers arrested 19-year-old Justin Gibson in connection with the homicide that occurred shortly after midnight on November 24, 2025, in the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue.

In that incident, officers found 20-year-old Quintravion Carter suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Gibson has been taken into custody and is currently being held at the Dougherty County Jail for this homicide case.
