Sumter Humane Society & The Spot Restaurant team up for ‘Puzzles & Pets’ fundraiser

AMERICUS, Ga. – Looking for a fun and creative way to support shelter animals? Well, the Sumter Humane Society is teaming up with The Spot Restaurant in downtown Americus for

‘Puzzles & Pets’ and they want you to be part of the masterpiece!

Here’s how it works… Now through Sunday, April 27th at 5 pm, stop by the spot and pick up a puzzle piece for $20. Take it home and decorate it however you like! Paint it, collage it, draw on it, make it yours! Once all the pieces are returned, they’ll be assembled into a giant community art piece called the Best Friends Art Puzzle.

The completed piece will go up for auction starting April 29th at 9 am in an online silent auction to raise funds for the humane society’s rescue and rehoming efforts. Bidding closes Friday, May 2nd at 7 pm, and the winner will be announced that night during the first Friday Multicultural Event at The Spot at 7:30 pm.

All proceeds go toward the care and protection of animals in Sumter county.
