Student hit by car at Tifton elementary school
TIFTON, Ga. – According to a post on the Tift Schools System Facebook page, “At approximately 2:55 pm a Len Lastinger Elementary student was involved in a pedestrian/vehicle accident during dismissal. The student was transported to Tift Regional Medical Center.”
Tift Schools said in a statement, “We would like to thank the community first responders and school staff at the scene for their quick response and attention to the situation.”
They said, “Tifton Police Department and Georgia State Patrol are leading the investigation.”
