St. Paul’s Baptist Church in Albany holds Good Friday and Easter Sunday services
ALBANY, Ga. – As our area gets set for Easter Sunday celebrations, churches across the area are getting set for Good Friday.
Local churches have been holding mass throughout the week and several are celebrating Good Friday with services open to the public this evening as well as the weekend.
We managed to catch up with one local pastor late Friday morning about the importance of Good Friday…
As well as what he’s doing in his east Albany community.
“It’s all about Christ. Family coming together, celebrating the resurrection. We’re going to have service tonight, a conference line service. We’re going to have fellowship tomorrow, on Saturday. Just family and friends, and we’re going to celebrate on Sunday. And, that will be a great celebration of resurrection,” said Pastor Calvin Rollins, St. Paul’s Baptist Church.
