Spring Hill Country Club in Tifton to host 18th Annual Jay Deason Memorial Golf Tournament

April 29, 2025
Matthew Crumley,

TIFTON, Ga. – At 11 a.m. Thursday, the Spring Hill Country Club in Tifton will host the 18th annual Jay Deason Memorial Golf Tournament, and the community is invited to be a part of it.

Whether you’re hitting the green or simply making a donation, your support goes a long way in helping local causes that make a difference in the lives of Tift County’s youth.

Since 2007, the Jay Deason fund has raised more than $230 thousand dollars, including $50 thousand for the Tools for Schools Program, which supports homeless and at-risk students in the Tift County School System.

Other efforts supported by the fund include sports scholarships through the Tifton Recreation Department, Toys for Tots, and the Tiftarea YMCA’s Christmas Extravaganza.

Even if you can’t play or donate, sponsorship opportunities are still available.

To get involved, visit jaydeasonfund.org to sign up and show your support.
