South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: September 19, 2025

Last weekend of summer will feel like it. Hot and humid with a slight chance of stray sprinkle or spotty shower. The heat extends into early next week. Better rain chances arrives for latter half of next week.

In the tropics, Tropical Storm Gabrielle is becoming better organized and is forecast to pass to the east of Bermuda as a hurricane late in the weekend or by early next week. A tropical wave off the west coast of Africa may see some slow development as it moves generally WNW across the eastern and central tropical Atlantic. Then we may need to watch the NW Caribbean Sea or S Gulf at the very tail end of the month or beginning of October.
