Breezy & cool with intervals of clouds & sunshine Thursday. Ghoulish chill Halloween evening in mid-50s for trick-or-treaters. Coldest air of the season in upper 30s-lower 40s on Saturday morning. Patchy frost in wind-protected areas for northwestern communities is possible. Slight rebound in temperatures this weekend near 70 as another rain chance returns on Monday. Drier again & seasonable mid-week.

Melissa has devastated parts of Jamaica. Melissa has weakened as it passed over Cuba today and moves through the central and southern Bahamas tonight then passes near or to the west of Bermuda tomorrow.
