South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: October 21, 2025

A touch milder morning in the 50s but cooler in the afternoon in the upper 70s. A moisture-starved frontal passage brings a reinforcing shot of drier and chilly air the next few days. Critically low dewpoints and relative humidity levels raises fire concerns for those burning. Next storm system arrives with seasonable temperatures and a chance of scattered showers this weekend. Coolest air mass of season so far arrives around Halloween.

The 13th named storm of the season, Tropical Storm Melissa forms over central Caribbean Sea. Hurricane Watch issued for portions of Haiti. Tropical Storm Watch issued for Jamaica. Melissa is forecast to meander there for several days under light stirring currents and then will gradually turn to the north feeling the frictional effects of nearby land masses.
