South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: November 25, 2025

Albany, GA set another new record high of 85° that surpasses the old record of 83° set in 1958. 4th record high in 6 days. Marginal Risk of strong to severe thunderstorms continues for SWGA overnight into early Wednesday AM. Isolated strong/severe wind gusts of 40-60 mph, a tornado or two, and hail up to 1″ in diameter are the primary threats. Better overlap of storm ingredients has already occurred to our northwest, so a weakening trend is expected with this activity. But, do have multiple ways to receive watches/warnings that may be issued. Much colder air arrives Thanksgiving Day with freeze/frost possible on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Milder temperatures and scattered showers into early next week.
