Summer-like heat builds into the weekend and peaks early next week. AM clouds / PM sunshine & hot with heat index near 100°. Isolated strong to severe storm may sneak into northern communities generally north of Highway 82 during the evening hours. Even hotter early next week. Cool down comes to end the week with a seasonal Memorial Day weekend.
