Heat wave builds with lower and more typical pop-up hit-or-miss variety rain chances for first weekend of Summer. More isolated than scattered storms as southerly flow becomes established with mesoscale features such as the sea breeze as the primary focus the next few days. Heat Index “feels-like” near cautious levels (100°-105°) climbs to near dangerous or heat advisory criteria (105°-108°). Use caution if you work outdoors. Practice heat safety. Stay hydrated! Look before you lock! Check the back seat!
