Dense morning fog develops that reduces visibility followed by near record warmth both Friday & Saturday. Record highs for Albany, GA are 82° (1957) & 81° (1949) respectively. Marginal Risk of strong to severe thunderstorms includes areas along/west of the Flint River Saturday afternoon and evening with damaging winds the primary threat. Much colder airmass arrives with a big drop in temperatures from well above to slightly below average. Patchy frost possible Monday morning with a more widespread freeze expected on Tuesday. Chilly weather holds for much of next week.
