South Georgia Weather Authority Forecast: August 26, 2025
64° was the morning low in Albany, GA with 5°-10° below average temperatures. Almost a carbon copy for a wonderful Wednesday. Pleasant days are numbered as humidity levels rise with increasing rain chances by end of the week. Wetter weather takes over for at least first half of the holiday weekend. Drier air returns for Labor Day.
In the tropics, Tropical Storm Fernand (fair-NAHN) has weakened, and will remain a “fish storm” over the open waters of the northern Atlantic. Elsewhere, tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the next 7 days, but could ramp back up by early-mid September near the climatological peak of the hurricane season.
