“Soul & Spirit: A Juneteenth Evening at the Albany Museum of Art”

ALBANY, Ga. – Juneteenth celebrations continue this weekend with a special evening event at the Albany Museum of Art (AMA).

“Soul & Spirit, a Juneteenth Evening at the AMA” kicks off at 5 p.m. and is open to adults 21 and older. Guests can enjoy a night of culture and creativity, featuring handmade vendors, a wine and beer bar, and a jewelry and waist beads demonstration by Awkward Girl Co.

Food tastings from local favorites like Q’s Cakes, Baby Shane’s, and Cornerstone Coffee begin at 5:45 p.m., while entertainment, including Dance ASU and readings by Angie Jones, takes the stage throughout the evening. Don’t miss the Black History Trivia with great prizes like gift baskets, memberships, and more!

The Albany Museum of Art (AMA) is located at 311 Meadowlark Drive. Tickets are available at the door, $5 for general admission, or $10 with drink tickets.
