Shooting Investigation in the 900 block of Cherry Ave.

ALBANY, Ga. – On October 7, 2025, around 8:22 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Cherry Avenue in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 17- year-old male who had sustained gunshot wounds to the arm and leg. He was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment.

While on scene, officers also located an 18-year-old male who had been shot in the buttock. He was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital as well. Both victims are reported to be in stable condition.
