Senior Crisp Co. 4-H member collecting pet supplies donations to bring holiday cheer to shelter pets at Cordele Animal Shelter
CORDELE, Ga. – A senior 4-H member in Cordele is working to make the holidays brighter for animals waiting for their forever homes. Kylee Odom’s project, A Home for the Holidays, is collecting donations to support the Cordele Animal Shelter and help give the pets in their care a more memorable Christmas.
Kylee is gathering items such as dry puppy and kitten food, leashes, collars, blankets, pet beds, and toys. Cash contributions are also welcomed, and all donations go directly toward improving the shelter animals’ comfort, well-being, and readiness for adoption. Organizers say they are also looking for community members interested in adoptions and sheltering, which can make an immediate impact for the pets currently in need.
Donations can be dropped off through December 20 at Crisp Academy or the Crisp County Extension Office. A donation box will be available at the school for students, and the Extension Office will accept items during operating hours.
For more information, you can contact the Crisp County Extension Office at 229-276-2612 or email uge2081@uga.edu. Kylee can also be reached directly at 229-487-1406 or by emailing odomkylee09@gmail.com. Her guardian may be contacted at 229-947-1926 or amajko@hotmail.com.
