Savor the Flavor to host For the Love of Revel Music Fest fundraiser for girl with leukemia

TIFTON, Ga. – Tifton’s Savor the Flavor owner will reunite the community once again but this time even bigger and better, for the love and for the benefit of one girl and her fight with leukemia.

Meet Revel, the little girl whose life changed completely in August of last year. Her grandfather’s response to the news can only be summed up in one word: disbelief.

But, the road to recovery is a costly one, and Tifton store owner Connie Stover has a plan to help.

“For the Love of Revel music fest, and its about showing the love it’s valentines it’s a time for love, this a good time to show the love for a little girl whose really struggling with what she’s dealing with,” said Connie Stover, owner, Savor the Flavor.Cam Savor The Flavor Music Fest Fundraiser Pkg Frame At 1m5s

Stover also plans to reach a hefty goal with services of musicians, food trucks, and profit from her own store.

“I’m hoping to reach my goal of ten thousand dollars. Each of the food trucks, including my bar Donatello’s will be donating 25 percent of what we make that day,” said Stover.

The support from the community of Tifton for revel and this event has been overwhelming, to say the least.

“I don’t know if I can describe it, that’s been one of the huge blessing. The outpouring of love is incredible. On the news there’s a lot of tragic events but there’s a lot of love left in this world,” said Hicks.

Not to forget the abundance of musicians eager to take part in this fundraiser for Revel.

“People have been reaching out I’ve had over 10 or 12 different bands who I couldn’t even put in so the feedback has been astronomical with this,” said Stover.

With everything’s she’s up against, Revel still has hope.

“She says she’s going to win, she just has an amazing spirit,” said Hicks.
