Saturday’s Tornado confirmed by National Weather Service
CRISP COUNTY, GA – The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has confirmed a EF0 Tornado caused damage Saturday near the Farmers Market on highway 41, just northwest of town and continued northeast for 2.1 miles. The Tornado’s damage stretched out 100 yards wide with max winds of 75 mph.
The report includes that there was some roof damage to the Farmers Market, otherwise mainly tree damage.
The National Weather Service states that the tornado was directly related to the center of Post-Tropical Storm Nestor.
