Ruth’s Cottage and The Patticake House hosts Annual Awards Night and Dinner Ceremony
TIFTON, Ga. – Honoring those behind the scenes – Ruth’s Cottage and The Patticake House recognize those who dedicate their time to helping others.
This week, the organization hosted its Annual Awards Night and Dinner Ceremony, celebrating individuals who have devoted their time, effort, and resources to furthering the organization’s mission.
The event was a heartfelt recognition of those working tirelessly to end domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and child abuse through advocacy and community outreach.
Six prestigious awards were presented to individuals from diverse fields, including law enforcement and healthcare, who have shown exceptional commitment to protecting and supporting survivors.
The organization’s journey began with seven passionate women who believed in the power of a comprehensive approach to address child advocacy, intimate partner violence, and non-consensual assault.
After securing funding in 2018, their vision became a reality– and today, in 2025, their impact continues to grow.
“383 adults and children received shelter. 520 adults sought temporary family violence and stalking protective orders with 143 being granted. 83 victims of sexual assault received advocacy services. 133 children received job advocacy services at The Patticake House. And, now, in addition to the child abuse prevention training, we offer the community for free; we have added a training now to educate on commercial sexual exploitation of children to also be free to the community. 168 Latino victims served across our programs and a total of 47,939 services provided by our direct service staff,” said Nancy Bryan – Ruth’s Cottage & The Patticake House, Executive Director.
