Recycle your Christmas tree with Keep Crisp Beautiful’s “Bring One for the Chipper” program
CORDELE, Ga. – Before sending your Christmas tree to the curb, Keep Crisp Beautiful is offering residents a greener option. The organization’s annual “Bring One for the Chipper” Christmas tree recycling program runs through January 31, giving the community an easy way to recycle real trees after the holidays.
Residents are encouraged to drop off real Christmas trees free of all decorations at Williams Field, where the trees will be chipped and composted instead of ending up in a landfill.
As a thank-you for participating, Keep Crisp Beautiful is offering a free seedling for each tree dropped off, while supplies last. The program helps promote sustainability while keeping Crisp County clean, green, and growing.
