Portion of Monroe Street to Close Thursday

Albany, GA – On Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 8 a.m., N. Monroe Street will be closed from W. 4th Avenue to the 4th Avenue Alley due to construction.

The closure is expected to last about two days or until the work is complete.

The ambulance turnaround at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will still be accessible during this time.

Drivers should plan to take alternate routes during this time and prepare for possible traffic delays.
