Portion of E. Broad Avenue to Close Beginning Tuesday

ALBANY, GA – According to a press release from the City of Albany, – Beginning Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 8 a.m., E. Broad Avenue will be closed from Church Street to N. Broadway Street as crews work on the Combined Sewer Separation (CSS) project.

Construction could take several days, and this portion of E. Broad Avenue will remain closed until the work is complete.

Drivers can use the truck route as a detour during this time.

The route is already marked by signs.

Drivers should plan to use an alternate route if possible or prepare for a longer drive time while work is underway.
