Portion of E. Broad Avenue closed due to cave-in, crews working to repair the road

ALBANY, Ga. – On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, the City of Albany Public Works Department blocked off the 1700 block of E. Broad Avenue at Sunbeam Lane due to a cave in.

Crews are still working to repair the road.

They expect to complete the construction by the end of day on Monday, November 6, 2023.

The road is expected to reopen early Tuesday morning on November 7, 2023.
