Phoebe’s Ribbon Walk cancelled due to inclement weather

ALBANY, Ga. – Phoebe has announced that Phoebe’s 2024 Ribbon Walk, scheduled for tomorrow morning at Meredyth Place, has been cancelled.

According to a statement by Ben Roberts, Director of Public Relations & Communications,

“We appreciate everyone who was looking forward to participating in this wonderful event which supports cancer patients throughout southwest Georgia.  Unfortunately, due to the predicted inclement weather for Saturday, March 9, we will not be holding the Ribbon Walk.  While, we always want to recognize and honor cancer patient journeys, we also must keep participants safe.  It was a difficult decision to make, but based on the guidance of local experts, we think this is the best decision.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s understanding.
