Phoebe Sumter invites community to annual Heart Walk & Run this Saturday
AMERICUS, Ga. – Community members looking for a fun and active way to support heart health are invited to participate in the Phoebe Sumter Heart Walk and Run on Saturday, February 21.
The event will take place on the Mattie H. Marshall Walking Trail at the Phoebe Sumter Medical Center campus, located at 126 U.S. Highway 280 West in Americus. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with the walk and run getting underway at 10 a.m.
Organizers encourage participants to bring friends, family members, or coworkers and form a group, as the largest participating group will receive a trophy.
The Heart Walk and Run is designed to promote physical activity and raise awareness about the importance of heart-healthy lifestyles across the community.
