Phoebe investigates employee social media misconduct

ALBANY, Ga. – In other recent developments, the Phoebe Health System is investigating an employee accused of making an insensitive post on social media while on duty.

Phoebe leadership has acknowledged the situation and responded with the following statement…

“We are aware of social media posts made by a Phoebe employee while on the job. The posts failed to demonstrate the level of respect and compassion we expect and demand of Phoebe family members. We deeply care about our patients and their families and regret any anguish these posts may have caused. We pledge to fully investigate any allegations of policy violations by a caregiver and take appropriate disciplinary action.”
