Phoebe honors Frank Brown, hosts dedication for longtime Deerfield-Windsor employee
ALBANY, Ga. – Members of the Deerfield-Windsor school and the Phoebe Health System came together on Wednesday morning to celebrate the life of Frank Brown.
The school’s custodian of 45 years passed away in March of 2022 at the age of 65.
During the dedication of a bench at Phoebe’s Light House in Frank’s memory, Phoebe doctors and Deerfield-Windsor faculty came together with Brown’s family to celebrate the life and the impact he had on generations of students.
Dr. Jay McAfee of Phoebe Radiation Oncology of Phoebe Cancer Center spoke about “taking care of him along the way”.
The school system also acknowledged three lower school students as recipients of the Frank Brown Scholarship that had been set up following Brown’s passing last year.
