One dead, one injured in Downtown Albany early morning shooting

ALBANY, Ga. – On October 2, 2025, officers responded to the intersection of Broad Ave/ Front St after 3:00 A.M. Two male victims were shot after an unknown vehicle pulled alongside their vehicle, and multiple shots were fired into the victims’ vehicle. The suspect vehicle fled the area shortly after.

Malcolm Davis (36) succumbed to his injuries. Glenterrious Leftenant (32) was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for his injuries and is in stable condition.
