Omega Psi Phi Fraternity holds annual ‘Shop With a Que’ event
ALBANY, Ga. – You’ve heard of ‘Shop With a Cop’, but now here’s Shop With a Que.
The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity held their annual ‘Shop With a Que’ event Monday, helping underserved kids in the Albany community by taking them shopping.
The Fraternity has been doing the ‘Shop With A Que’ program where they sponsor kids from the Dougherty County School System and take them on a shopping spree.
We caught up with one of the organizers from Omega Psi Phi about doing this for the kids
“It’s a beautiful thing, honestly, to see the smiles on the faces and even hear from the parents about how what we’re able, what we’re able to do helps has helped so many of them. Some of them are able to do some of the things that they want to do for their children. So, us being able to do it is a huge plus,” said Elijah Macon, Omega Psi Phi.
Macon says they were inspired to do ‘Shop With a Que’ by the various ‘Shop With a Cop’ events around the area.
